The Athens International Airport (www.aia.gr) is found in a distance about 40 km from the Ahens City Center. This means a trip for you, about 40-50 minutes to come inside the historical center by car.

There is also railway conected with central subway system of Athens and also public transportations with buses.

The trip with car is most inside in a modern and safe highway, that finished the year 2003 and was a part of the constructional works for the Olympic games of 2004.

The last 7-8 km for reach at your hotel is inside in the city.

There is also the old road that lead to Athens by the seaside. This means for you more hour to get to your destination becouse of the traffic, but your ride is fantastic.

The central port of Athens is Piraeus. 12 km away from the city center (15-20 minutes) and is the center of your destination to all the Greek islands.

You have to be there at least 40 before the ferries depart  from the port.

Travel to the Greek islands during the summer is a unique experience. It depends from your destination, your trip can be from 1 hour to 12 hours.

Brand new, big and safe ferry boats are waiting for the passengers to travel.

For your return to the airport for the flight back to your home, you have to be at the airport at least 2 hours before the departure, day and night.
